Excel Sheet wth active form build twice

Post by Willi »

Hi,

I have tM1 9.5.2 and Excel 2010.

I have one Excel Sheet with a couple of Actionbutton wich is a Kind of Menu for the User. Here the user presses a button and a TI-Process is launched wich builds a report-Cube and than calls a Excel-Sheet to Display the data. In the part "Advanced Options" (I hope this is the correct Name in English) I define 3 Values of the Menu-Sheet wich should be passed to the new Excel Sheet in named Areas. This all works perfect. The Excel Sheet itself is generated from a cube-view as active form and a bit modified by adding some columns and changing colours.

Now the Sheet is build and shown to the user. But than the Excel is still working and after a while the Active form is cleared and than rebuild with the values of the named Areas wich where saved in the Excel Sheet the last time of the development.

Any ideas why this happens?

Best regards

Sorry, I have to correct a bit. The first build of the Active form is with the saved values of the named Areas and than it is rebuild with the actual passed values. The Excel-Option to build the Sheet is set to manual

I should have asked earlier. After I asked I had the idea myself. In the named maneger of Excel the TM1REBUILDOPTION should be set to 0
