Hi All ,

I have the following softwares installed in my 2003 windows 64 bit server

IBM Cognos TM1 ver 9.4.1000.50077
IBM Cognos TM1 Executive Viewer ver 09.04.0100.2244
IBM Cognos TM1 Work Flow ver 9.4
IBM Cognos x 64 ver 9.4.10000.50088

I want to know whether I am having the latest versions of softwares installed. Is TM1 9.4.1 and TM1 9.4 MR1 the same ? Or I will have to install TM1 9.4 MR1 ?

Could anyone please comment on this ? I am waiting for your response.

To answer the main question it does not apear that you are on the latest version of 9.4.

Depending on when you downloaded the software MR1 should have been available from the main site, but there was a fix pack after that. To download that please see Alan's post on where to obtain patches at the top of this forum, since I dont believe they are going to incorporate it into the main download site anytime soon. FP1 is a update so it requires that MR1 be installed before you can continue.

This is where I would ask are you asking becuase your current 9.4 install is not working properly for you or do you have a compelling reason to update? Fixes and updates are generally an adventure in regression bugs and FP1 has not been out very long to have a large amount of community feedback.

I have downloaded the FP1 for MR1 , but i am not sure whether i can install it or not. I saw many posts which says there are will be issues after installing the FP1 . Currently I dont have a reason for update.We are planning to give access TM1 access for our HR people in a few days , it will be difficult to update the software after the release.

In the IBM site I have seen they reffering to 9.4 MR1 as 9.4.1 . We have purchased the software in jan 2009 .
