Hello Gurus,

We are facing a weird issue post launching performance modeler
Steps we are doing:
- Install and launch performance modeler and access any object.
- Login to Cognos Connection using any id other than admin
- Open TM1 Websheet- all the picklist will show blank.
- Now open BI and access a report. The report throws below error
XQE error encountered: XTM-JAP-0003 Invalid response from TM1 API. The TM1 error code is: APIFunctionFailed. The TM1 error message is: "Original and current order of dimensions differ in size".

This issue gets resolved if we remove the }DimensionSecurity.cub file and restart TM1. But not sure why this is happening every time performance modeler is launched.

Has any of you faced similar issue before? Any insight into this will be highly helpful.

Environment Details:
Cognos BI 10.2.1 FP3 IF 1044
Cognos TM1 10.2.2 IF 1027
Performance Modeler - 10.2
OS - Windows Server 2008 R2

Just soundd like you haven't given users access to the dimensions. Instead of deleting the dimension security cube, use it to apply userd access to the dimensions.

Having security mode 5 only means that users are automatically assigned to groups... it does not mean you have given that group access to see the dimensions in question.

Thanks a lot Sir, this helped. Actually we found that none of our users had access to dimensions. So post assigning access things are working fine
