Why is Tracing Calculations disabled for a rule-driven cell

Generally speaking, for a rule-driven cell with all dimensions in detail level, you should be able to use Tracing Calculations to check the rule calculation in the back-end. However, if you right click on that cell, the function is always grey out. You can only see the calculation at least with one consolidated dimension. Does that make sense? :?

are you on 10.1? If so refer to PM63037: TRACE CALCULATION AND CHECK FEEDERS GREYED OUT.

Thanks

As Evgeny pointed out this (and a number of other issues) occured in the base version of 10.1 - I would recommend applying all fixpacks available for 10.1 or upgrade to 10.2 (with the 10.2 fixpacks)

You can still choose a consolidated cell above your nodal, trace calcs on that and then click through to the nodal rule cell to see its trace calcs from memory if you need it in the interim.

Thanks, guys. I am on 10.1.1 and would check if that is a really bug after applying the fixpack. ;)

Definitely a bug mate, I had the same issue with 10.1.1. Upgrade fixed the problem ;)
