I've seen similair errors to this with previous versions. Have you tried either rolling out the latest fix pack or re-installing it on their machine? It's a pain but I've seen this work more times than not. It might however be worth waiting to see if anybody has seen this specific error and has a more precise fix for you,

Jim.

Hi Yasser,

a customer of mine had this lately. The IBM support advised to disable the use of the TM1 Ribbon by renaming file "tm1pRibbonX.xlam" in the Cognos/TM1/bin directory and see if it still occurs, and it seems that solved it.

There were more options, so if this does not help, raise a ticket with the IBM, I was really happy with the support they gave lately!

Good luck

Hi all,
We have installed 10.2.2 and are using Excel 2010 on a windows 2008 remote desktop. Some users are getting this same message each time they create a slice/snapshot, others using the same remote session don't get it.
Does anyone know of a fix without disabling the TM1 ribbon file? I'd rather not re-install TM1 if possible!
Thanks,
Fionnuala
