Drill Through resets view in Performance Modeler from Excel

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone else has had an issue with drill through from an Excel view in Performance Modeler? I suspect a bug!

System is Cognos Express 10.2 FP1. Excel 2007.

The drill through works perfectly well, in both Architect or Excel, but when launched from an Excel view in Performance Modeler the original view is reset - although the drill works as expected.

I have found a workaround - using a cube view in PM to launch the drill is sufficient - but would be interested to know if anyone else has had this issue, and if so, what references can you give me?

Regards

Whadya mean Clancy? Drill through from Excel view in Performance Modler seems a contradiction in terms since both are different and independent UIs. About the only place I know of in Performance Modler where it is possible to interact with an "Excel view" is where designing an application that uses websheets, and even then you aren't working directly with Excel just a shortcut or representation of an object dragging it around. So what exactly do you mean and what's the possible use case, because its got me beat.

My guess would be in application server after it's been added in application design within performance modeler. As for the issue, have you checked through the IBM known issue log? As you're working with 10.2, that list is quite large, as is the list of bugs not yet found,

Jim.
