It's used for storing info that is needed when you set up TM1 applications to use cognos insight in distributed mode.

Hi
Catch up on this, I would have two additional questions:

1. If nobody is using Insight but Contributor web only, why do we have a ca. 20gb big tm1s.log in this folder? Does it replicate the "master" tm1s.log?
2. How do we "commit" the log in the tunit folders so that old logs could be deleted by a bat file? Our cxmd size on the disk is 0.5 Gb and the logs in the tunit go up to 45Gb at the moment. It seems that save data on CXMD does not create a tm1stimestamp.log in the tunit folders.

Thanks

When setting up the applications to deploy are they enabled for distributed/offline mode? Remove this so that the application is only available via application web and there should be no need for tunit directory.
Please place all requests for help in a public thread. I will not answer PMs requesting assistance.

Hi
Thanks lotsaram, I have already done so, my question is rather what happens if once we really need Insight? How to handle the logs?

Thanks
