I am a new member to TM1 Forum.
I have installed TM1 ver 10.2 on my laptop in last couple of days. The summary status of installation is as follows:
1. End of Installation message 'successful'
2. Configuration Screen shows:
- TM1 App Server - Status : Green
- TM1 Admin Server - Status : Green
Data Access:
- SData - Status : Green
- Planning Sample - Status : Green
-GO-New_Stores - Status : Green
3. Services Status
Admin Server : Started with Auto Startup Type Log On As : Local System
Appl. Server : Started Auto
Appl. Server (Id 13474041) : Started Auto
TM1 Server : Go_New_Stores : Started Auto
TM1 Server : Planning Sample : Started Auto
TM1 Server : SData : Started Auto
4. Open up Perspectives
Option : Connect to Local Server on Startup - Unchecked
With the above status, I am not able to sight any Servers in Perspectives. Guys, I must be missing something here. Your advise and direction is highly appreciated.

Based on the fact that you seem to have 2 instances of the application service installed I would assume that you have installed on a PC that previously had an install of either 10.2 or 10.1; if that's the case it isn't necessarily an issue - having 2 application services can get annoying for a number of reasons (this has happened to me as well) but that won't be the issue here.

Check one of the tm1server.log files for one of the servers; sData for example and check that it does get to the notifying admin server message without any issues; if you see that it is definitely running.

If you have in fact previously had another version of TM1 installed then your tm1p.ini file was probably left over, so in file => options from perspectives or architect check the "certificate authority" is looking at the correct applixca.pem filepath, if it is looking at where it would have previously been installed then you won't see any services. The other thing to check in here is what is shown as the Admin Host - but with it all being on 1 PC you can just leave that blank and it will default to the local machine. If either are pointing to the wrong place then you won't see any services.
