How build a specific dimension ?

Hi every one,

I have a little problem with my dimension. I would like a father node (e.g: named "Total") under which there would be a whole child of type string. However, after the error message that TM1 returns to me, I take that child of type string can not have a parent node. Is this normal or I do not understand my mistake ?

Of course this is normal. Think about it for a minute: should the consolidated element be a sum of text elements? Sum of numbers, yes!
