Strange string rules in a cube

Can someone please explain the following behavior...

Please see 4 attachments:

"this works.jpg' for the rules
"this works_cube.jpg' for the cube view
"this does not work.jpg' for the rules
"this does not work_cube.jpg' for the cube view

I have no clue...

I only restrict the second rule to 1 element, and it has an effect on a different area?

A and B are String elements, all other elements are Simple. But the third dimension in the cube (not visible on the screenshots) is the }Processes dimensions where elements seem to be "ab"-type of elements. Not sure if this is the culprit.

Does it ring a bell?

What is going on with measure 'A' in the 'this does not work'-case?
The cells are white and can receive input (some kind of STET ?)

I'm still investigating, so don't spend too much time on it now, unless you want to :-)

I don't see it :-(
I got rid of the }Processes dimension and used a regular dimension (a mirror copy of the }Processes dimension). Still no luck.

Tomorrow hopefully more luck :-)

Rebooting the TM1 server (model) shows me the correct results.
I'm still looking at what is causing this.

Hello

After using the function DimensionUpdateDirect in the Epilog tab, it all works fine...
Losing 2 evenings over this 1 function!
Anyway, it's solved :-)
