Depends on what version you are using as to some specifics but regardless of that; the install notes that come with any version are fairly easy to follow for a vanilla set up.

Hi Declan,

Thanks for the reply, but can I expect any steps or documentation for that please. As it has to be done in high priority.

Regards

Maaz

Did you miss the links to the documentation when you looked in the FAQ, as the Request For Assistance Guidelines asks you to?

I think you might need to explain exactly what it is you are trying to do, as the documents linked contain nearly all the set up instructions required...

Hi,

We are installed TM1 web on a new server and MS Excel and would like to configure both, so that reports can run in Excel.

Thanks

Have you installed TM1 Perspectives on the server? This adds a ribbon/ toolbar into Excel that allows you to interact with TM1 cubes and build reports etc. That is what 'running the report in Excel' depends upon. Special formulas - DBRWs - read and write data to the cubes through cells in the worksheets.

if you've _only_ installed TM1 web and MS Excel and _not installed_ TM1 Perspectives then all you can do is view data via the TM1 Web interface and export those cubeviews/ websheets to the Excel application on your server as snapshot (i.e. values only). DBRWs won't function properly until you also install TM1 Perspectives on the server.
