Infrequent Error

Hello,

I am building an liquidity plan and a deferrence for balance sheet accounting. I have several creditloans with different timetables and interest rates. I have written the rules to calculate this but now I have the Problem that the years from 2014 to 2017 are always correct. Til 2018 the calculation is made only sometimes and over times I have a rule time error. This rule time error is always stated under trace calculation. If the calculation for 2018 is correct the rule time error is also stated under trace calculation. The rules are for every year the same because in the rules is no fixing of a special year. I have no idea which is the cause for this effect. Have you any idea?

Under trace calculation I have also seen that he stated sometimes lines which are not necessary for the calculation for example the addition of three kinds of repayments. He doesn't stated three lines for each kind of repayment he stated also the lines marge and interest rate which have nothing to do with the repayment.

I hope you can help me.

It sounds like you might be blowing the feeder stack, if so you will see clear messages in the message log. This happens when a single input item feeds many calculations. I have found it often happens in balance sheet type models where you roll a value forward over many time periods.
Search for feeder stack and you will find a post with details of a solution
