Cognos Express Distributed mode

Hi,

We have some ongoing issues using Distributed mode form within Cognos Express 10.2.1
When we try to open the distributed mode from the planner application we get the "Unable to create widget error". We thought this might be an issue with security of the cube so we ahead and gave Everyone group Read permission for all the cubes. That didn't solve the problem . The only time it did when we added the users to the Data Admin group. This however skewed up the data in distributed mode as some values were not showing up correctly. Everything works fine however in Connected mode.. Is this a problem related to cube security or a problem with feeders not syncing with distributed mode.?
Any Insight (:p) is appreciated
