Cannot Reuse Approval Hierarchy in Web Apps 10.1

Hi all,
Since we cannot use approval hierarchy dimension (Cognos TM1 Web Applications 10.1) , does that not also mean you cannot use the same cube? The client requires running 2 (or 3) workflows in parallel - say one for Qtr 1 and another for Q4 last year at the same time based on the same cube. So to have another application/workflow, I would have to create a copy of the first cube using a copy of approval hierarchy dimension? That will just explode their design into too many copies of cubes, Rules and TI's.

That's correct for 10.1. In 10.2 however you can have multiple plannnings apps on one cube. You need to use the 'Control Dimension' when you are creating the app in perf modeller (Not to confuse withe the }ControlDimensions)
