Hello Everyone,

we move all night the content of our Logging folder into a backup folder. Now I like to check the transactional logging for the last 5 days. So I copied the transactional logging files into the productive Logfile folder of the application and tried to run the transactional logging view (query, however it's called).

But the files I copied over were not recognized.

Any idea how I can fix that? The files are too big to check with excel (+filter) and in the normal windows editor it sucks as well...

Server restart should make them visible.

Just a question: why are the files so big? Do you keep the logs of let's say daily loads of transactional data into TM1? Is it really necessary?
I think that not all data changes should be logged.

Logging was setup for some non-planning cubes and probably in some processes we didn't deactivate the logging. Has already been changed.
