Farewell TM1

Post by Chengooi »

Hi Alan and all who had offered his / her advice "unconditionally" thru this forum:

I'd like extend my deepest appreciation to you all as today will be my last day to still be able to keep my access as TM1 Administrator and certainly having a good glimspe of view or views of my TM1 model.

I started using TM1 on July 28th 2005 without a single clue about what it is not to mention slice and dice.
I have kept my role for over 4 years and finally today I have to raise my white flag to TM1.

I have learnt a lot from this forum. It has helped me to resolved a lot of work problems and overcome my difficult times in dealing with technical issues relating to TM1. The power of this forum is far beyond one can expect if one uses know how to use it!

I have definately gained the benefit but unfortunately I have to call it off.
Life consisting many dimensions and sometimes, some elements in it just require permanent elimination in order to make the "cubes" work efficiently !

Until then, if you wish to keep in touch with me , click accounts contact in http://www.networkpro.co.nzand your email will come to me. :)

You're leaving a day early! I had it marked in my diary for tomorrow, but upon reflection it may be better not to do it on Friday the 13th after all.

You've added some colour to the Forum; good luck in your new role.

Good luck - they will always come back!

Marcus

PS: Of course I'm passionate to OLAP, but I didn't succeed in extending it to my family members and friends. It's so far away for them, I could as well talk of craters on the moon. Don't know how you are approaching this issue...

I don't bother; I just tell them that I'm a space shuttle mission commander. They never know the difference. I mean let's face it, in the post-post Apollo era, hardly anybody can name them these days except for the ones who happen to get into messy love triangles which involve crazy women. And even I'm not unlucky enough in that department to get lumbered with those. {Pauses and reflects...} Usually.
