Thanks for that. The presence of a page like this is the sort of information that I'd expect to get from the "IBM My notifications" service and yet... not a word.

Thankfully we have this forum to plug the gaps.

hi guys,

IBM Cognos TM1 9.5 has a merge between Cognos Planning 8.4 Contributor and TM1? Or this is too new to be determined?

I'd say that's reasonably accurate. 9.5 will support the Excel and TM1 Web front ends but there will also be a new front end specifically for "planning" purposes which is basically lifted from the Contributor 8.4 UI with contributor style workflow (and individual user sandpit versioning and undo spread).

better to ask IBM themselves, although with the number of issues 9.4 has they'd be advised to make it sooner rather than later :?
If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator.

From the number of bugs that have apparently been found in beta testing I'm hoping for later rather than sooner.

Have they posted anything other then the release date? Unfortunately twitter and the like have been deemed evil and thus blocked here at work.

Yup, I saw it a day or two back. Did you see the size of the thing?? About half a gig.

My bet is that the archive is passworded too, though I could probably hazard a guess at the password.

However for half a gig of bandwidth, I'm not really planning to try...
