Hey All!
TM1 Perspectives 9.4.1 FP2
Excel 2007
When I refresh a report I get the following error message before the Excel shuts down as well as my TM1 server.
I must also mention that 3 more month's worth of data was loaded in and that the report refreshed before the new data was loaded.
Does anyone have a clue why this happens?
Thanks!

Kang,
http://forums.olapforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1534
There seem to be a lot of problems with the client for the release you mention. Though no one has mentioned that it kills the server too. There is also the active thread in the bugs section that you need to read.
I'm afraid that you are not going to get much help from the forum in fixing your issue as it would appear you are using a "broken" client and only IBM can fix that. The error message you have shown is so generic that it's no help in telling you what the specific issue is.
It would appear that you have two options, down grade your client software or get the hotfix mentioned in the bugs section.
-----------
That said, if your server is running on a 32 bit box then you should check that you're not excedding the RAM limits (2/3GB depending on the OS) as this is a common cause of server crashes.
Not much help kang I'm afraid but I can't see where else you can go from that point. If you give a lot more information about your environment someone may spot something. Are you running the client and server on the same box? Are there any messages in the log file? Have you raised with IBM?
Cheers,

Thanks Steve!
I got an article on the IBM support site(yes can you believe it) that says its one of 2 things. It is either the server exeeding the mashine RAM or there might be a problem in your .cfg file.

Or the other option, the software doesn't work properly.
