List Validation on DBRW to Element Attributes Cube 9.4.1 FP2

Hi All,

I have a strange situation with FP2 in that if I have a cell with a DBRW formula pointing to an ElementAttribute Cube, and the cell has Excel Data Validation upon it, in the form of a Drop Down List. When selecting a value it seems to trigger a Recalculation before sending the value.

Is anyone able to confirm this behaviour or offer a plausible solution? At this stage we are looking at re-installing all users with FP1, however with a large number of distributed sites and users this is being treated as the last resort.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Dan

I have the same problem. I have just a bit (column hide and show) of VBA code that run with the Combobox_Change() function. and EVERY time I expand my rows the function is triggered! I had to write macros to overcome this.
