Hi,
Does anyone know what the latest release for 9.1.4 x64 is?
Also we are experiencing a lot of problems with server crashes and Processes saying they have completed successfully when they have actually skipped from the prolog to the completed successfully message without loading the metadata or the data (ODBC processes connected to Oracle). Is anyone else experiencing these problems?
We are being told that public UDC's could be causing this, Does that ring true with anyone else?
Sorry for all the questions.
All replies greatfully received.
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
I'm not sure what the latest release on 914 is, but the problem with your TIs sounds like your queries to Oracle are not delivering any results.
If your query delivers no results then the prolog will execute but the data and metadata will not (since there is nothing to process). You'll get the success message since there are no errors. You might see something in the message log if there is a problem with the ODBC connection.
Not sure why public UDC (UNC??) would be used in an ODBC based query?
HTH a little

Hi Steve,
thanks for the reply but sadly that's not the case There is for certain data waiting to be loaded. The only bit of complexity we add in is that we send a sql call to update the staus of the batch from U to IP and in the eoilog it should set it to P. But the process exits leavingeg the batch status at IP, suggesting that some form of error occured between sending the update statement and getting back to the prolog to continue.
