Dear all,
I encountered with a problem when filtering elements by attributes on TM1 Web. There are more than 200 elements in product dimension. Each element has its own attribute. When I use Perspective to filter (Select all -> filter by attribute), there is no problem. Please find the snap below:
However, when I use TM1 Web for filtering, it cannot display all attributes for selection. The last three attributes are missing.
Has anybody have such problem before? It seems it's a bug of TM1 web....Anybody can help? Many Thanks

What version of tm1 are you running? And, have you applied any of the hot fixes?

The asterisk in the top bar of your subset in the second picture indicates that you have made some changes to the subset since you opened it. It is possible that you've merely filtered some of the elements out already including the ones you want.
The drop down list only shows you attributes for elements that are currently in the subset editor.
Try reloading the default subset and trying again.

But I did the filtering action in TM1 Web as this order: Select all -> Filter by attributes. When I select all, elements cannot be displayed in 1 page in the subset editor. Is that means I only can filter the elements by attributes in the current page? However, I tried to go to page 2 and filter, but no luck. The last 3 attributes are still missing...I am very confused....

Why do you have a unique attribute for each and every dimension member? This is a very odd piece of design! Why would this be necessary?

We don't want to do that indeed. But our client insists to do so....Anyway, it should display every thing normally in my understanding in TM1 Web.lotsaram wrote:Why do you have a unique attribute for each and every dimension member? This is a very odd piece of design! Why would this be necessary?
