aggregation element's highlighting

Post by IRIV »

Hi!

Does anybody know how i can highlight aggregation or calculation cells in TM1 Cube.
For example as bold or italic text (digits) in the TM1 Cube's Greed?

Thanks a lot!

Welcome to the forum!
From your question I _suspect_ you are from a Cognos Planning background.
The TM1 cube viewer shows non-input cells as grey, input cells as white - but it doesn't distinguish between consolidated, ruled and blocked by security.
Frankly, the cube viewer is pretty limited as a frontend tool for working with TM1. Excel is better. TM1 Web is an option, though it's slower than Excel. To do what you want you'd probably need to handcraft some rules. Maybe others here have smarter ideas.

Hi,

Yes the TM1 cube viewer is very limited, excel and active forms could help but navigating with colour coding is better and much more efficient with Executive Viewer...
