We are planning on upgrading to local planning analytics however we have run into an issue where we cannot communicate to the TM1 server when utilizing the odata protocol. We have configured TM1 to open up the correct port etc however it appears we may have encountered a SSL error. I cannot for the life of me understand
how to go about troubleshooting this issue. Oddly connecting to TM1 perspectives, accessing TM1Web and TM1 application work without issue. My understanding is that PAW requires the odata protocol to work before we can begin to think about configuring our linux server to run PAW. Has anyone else encountered access issues trying to GET information back from TM1?
As you can see when we try to communicate with the server to GET information by constructing a url: < https://myserver:8000/api/v1/Cubes/$count > we get a status code "401 Unauthorized" per screenshots below:
As part of trying to solve the issue it looks though it may have to do with SSL certs. I have followed the instructions per below however once the changes are applied the TM1 server and the TM1 admin server will not start after these changes are applied:
