TM1 9.1.4 - Slower than previous versions

Hello,

i recently updated from TM1 8.4.3 to 9.1.4, having to realize that the new version is way slower than the old one. We are using Cubeware Importer for all ETL-tasks, including creating/updating dimensions and cubes.

With the old version of TM1, it was possible to update a dimension with approx. 10.000 elements in 30 seconds. With the new one the same task takes about 20 minutes to complete while pushing the CPU load to 100% during the process. I then tested with 9.1.3, which is as fast as 8.4.3 was...

Has anybody experienced the same problems? Is there something like an "hotfix" for 9.1.4? I searched the Cognos/IBM-websites but wasn't able to find anything.

I'm pretty sure (but don't quote me) that this was listed as a fixed bug with 9.1.4 FP1.

Where can i find this FP? Or at least its release notes? The IBM "Fix Central" only has updates for 9.4, not 9.1.4 .

Perhaps they "lost" it when migrating the Applix--->Cognos--->IBM - websites (Or maybe i´m just to d*** to find...)

I also can't recall seeing a 9.1.4 FP1 anywhere...
Regarding Cubeware Importer I would advice to upgrade the Common Components to version 7.5 if you haven't done this already. I'm not sure whether this would make a difference, but Cubeware is improving the drivers all the time.

i´ve tested different CommonComponents, from 7.5 to 7.0 - no difference.

For whatever reason 9.1.4 FP1 does not seem to be on Fix Central, ... however you can still find it on the IBM boulder https site. Ask your IBM support rep for more details. Otherwise you could try 9.1.4 HF7 or HF8, these are loose file fixes.

f.y.i.: I've finally got my hands on the FP1, but it doesn't fix the problem.

So now i update the dimension at nighttime
