Session Timeout when exporting Websheet

Post by PavoGa »

We are experiencing a problem with exporting a rather smallish view from a websheet. The cube has five dimensions. Two dimensions on the rows, two context dimensions and one dimension for the column with only a single element on the column. The total number of rows to be exported is 164. Here is what all can/cannot be done, what we have tried and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen anything bizarre like this:

The user built the view as described above.
The user gets a timeout error within a few seconds of trying to export a snapshot of the private view.
I built the view as a public view. I can export it, the user cannot.
The user has been exporting views for two years within the same application.
We had the user export other views without a problem.
We setup a test_user with the exact same credentials and that test_user account can export the public view.
The user having the problem logged back in using http instead of https and was able to export the public and private views.
Both user and test_user accounts were working from laptop clients.

Is this possibly a problem with an update on the user's laptop? How does one diagnose what this problem may be? :? (really need a cross-eyed emoticon)

Ty,
I hope you've had the user clear their browser cache and delete their history. I know it sounds basic but sometimes we forget to try these steps.

Wes,

My bad. Meant to respond back to you. Yes, that cleared it up and we all had a big "DUH" moment.
