Server Crashed with no reasonable error

Post by LutherPaul »

Hi All,
Our TM1 server crashed twice since last night with Error as below.

4748 [42] ERROR 2014-08-20 09:18:20.339 TM1.Sandbox TM1Sandbox::RemoveCubeDelta: Could not find base cube for CubeDelta index 0

We are on TM1 10.2.2 with Contributor. No TI process was running during the crash. No other log file was created.
What could have gone wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul.

Can you make it happen to order?
If you can, then the steps you go through might give an idea as to what the issue is.

Also if you can you would need to extract the stack trace to analyze the server crash.

We were unable to crash the server again.

Thanks,

In a way (from a supporting you perspective) that sucks!
But in another, that is brilliant.

If it does happen again, then before you reset it, see if you can get instructions on the extraction.

Hi,

One of my client is using TM1 10.2.2 base version. We encountered this error twice in a week. So, the service was down subsequently.

Here are the log capture:
---
5744 [cb] ERROR 2016-12-13 08:53:47.434 TM1.Sandbox TM1Sandbox::RemoveCubeDelta: Could not find base cube for CubeDelta index 0
5744 [cb] ERROR 2016-12-13 08:53:47.434 TM1.Sandbox TM1Sandbox::GetCubeDelta: Failed to add delta for cube 'pl_bs' with index 2250.
---

I tried googling on the error and found some similar results (although not exactly same)
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg1PI25314
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg1PI25419

The recommendation from the technote is upgrade to FP2. I haven't tested this before.
