Getting error message when trying to run a chore in TM1 Architect

Post by BZ-boy »

Hello all. We have several cubes that we refresh in TM1 using Architect. We haven't had any issues lately except for today when we are trying to run a chore, we are getting the following error message:

2068 [4] ERROR 2016-12-05 TM1.Process "Execute Timeout 60 Batch File":: Execution was aborted. Error file:<TM1ProcessError_2016_12_05xxxx> System cannot find the file specified.

If you double click on the error it says this:
Error Prolog procedure line (5): The system cannot find the file specified.

We have tried numerous attempts to fix this but nothing seems to work. We have restarted the server, as well as restored the sube & cube files from a backup and we are still getting same error.

Anyone know what is causing this error or how to correct this?

* We are using version 10.2.2

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you

Did it ever occur to you to open the TI process and look on line 5 of the Prolog tab to see what file it is talking about? Perhaps the file does not exist because someone or some process forgot to put it there.

Thank you for the reply. I did look at the prolog tab and here is what it says:

#****Begin: Generated Statements***
#****End: Generated Statements****

ExecuteCommand ('D:\TM1 Batch Files\Daily Load Timeout 60 seconds.bat', 1);

Appears to be a bat file missing. Not sure how this happened as I am not aware of any changes made recently. Can you suggest how I can get this fixed?

Please know that we no longer have a Cognos admin and I'm still learning the ins & outs of TM1 Architect. I appreciate your help with this

I believe we have this fixed now. We upgraded servers not too long ago and when that occurred, apparently not all of the batch files were copied to the new server. We were able to locate the old batch file and copy it over and run the chore again and got a successful message.

Hi BZ-boy,
Just to let you know that TM1 is supplied as a blank sheet of paper, so nearly everything that exists in your environment will be custom code to a greater or lesser extent.

Just so you aware of the kinds of questions people will be able to answer, hopefully you have some top-notch system documentation at your end!
Cheers,
