hi,
i want to show attributes of a metadata dimension in the column field of a view.
for eg i have projects dimension, so i want to make a view with projects in row field and its attributes in column field.
is there any way out ?

You should be using websheets not views. Websheets allow you to mix cubes in one report - and attributes are held in cubes.

I think Projects is a classical example where it is good to have some String elements in the measure dimension so that you can display qualitative data in a cube view; or you can go on with David's advise, but it means you are restricted to websheets.
If your attributes are short enough, i.e. just a project name, start date, you may think about using these as aliases.
