TM1 server Performance Analysis

Hi All

TM1 version 10.2.2

I am new to TM1 server Administration .

I want to analyze TM1 server performance .what are the different factors to consider and how to analyze .

by using performance monitor TM1 control cubes; }StatsByClient, }StatsByCube, }StatsByCubeByClient, and }StatsForServer we can get stats .

and also want to know how to do performance tuning of the TM1 server .

I'm sorry, maybe someone else here will have a good and uneventful day and will attempt to write a comprehensive answer, but to me that question in itself is too broad and too deep to answer in a forum post. One could write whole books on this subject, or at the very least lengthy chapters.

I would suggest using the Search option on this forum and read all the existing threads you can find and that should give you an idea of what's involved.

But generally speaking, performance can be measured by how fast the model is doing what it should be doing, which can usually be quantified by e.g. timing how long it takes to run reports etc. If any metrics are unsatisfactory then you can start thinking why that might be so.
