Using an Active Form is probably the most straight forward solution for perspectives; note that only rows will update dynamically.
Cafe is also an option if you can move away from perspectives.

In addition to what Declan said... if you use an active form make sure that you use a named subset (one which is either dynamic (MDX) or updated regularly) for the rows dimensions. If you just select a list of elements, those elements are embedded in a hidden sheet in the workbook and will therefore be static.declanr wrote:Using an Active Form is probably the most straight forward solution for perspectives; note that only rows will update dynamically.

I was going to point to the relevant section of the online documentation but it looks like IBM has implemented a Shiny! New! Interface! for the online version and in the process has completely and utterly forked up the links to everything except the release notes and installation guide. Thankfully the Downloads page has yet to be broken by IBM's l33t HTML skillz. So far. Make sure that you have copies of the documentation downloaded; you can scan through to find the relevant section on active forms.

Have a look at this post too for some guidelines on using Active Forms.
