I would recommend a training course. Not necessarily an IBM one, since those tend to promote bad practices. {cough}Performance Muddler{Cough}.Meg wrote: Am very new to TM1 not sure on where to start with. It depends on where you are but a lot of the regulars have ties to TM1 consultancy services which often conduct training; either structured or one on one training. The commercial sub-forum might be a good place to peruse for that.

The 10.2 Training Material for Architect Design and Develop models still utilises the Advanced Rules Editor and includes a statement declaring the Advanced Rules editor as deprecated since 10.1.1I would recommend a training course. Not necessarily an IBM one, since those tend to promote bad practices. {cough}Performance Muddler{Cough}.

Re: New to TM1
How will you be interacting with TM1? Are you going to be a developer? Building Dimensions and Cubes? Are you going to be an Administrator, monitoring the system and working with security? Or are you going to be using it as an end user, a customer? The answer to these questions will guide you in the right direction, as there are different types of courses, for different users.Meg wrote:Hi,
