Unable to see Application Design in performance modeler

Post by jagan_Palanisamy »

Hi,

I am using TM1 10.2.2.0, when i logon to Performance modeler, i am not seeing the tab "Application design" for my new instance which i created.
I am seeing Model Design and Transfer Design tabs. The application design tab is appearing for Planning Sample instance but not for this new instance.

I am not connecting directly to tm1 server. I am using the below steps for launching performance modeler.

From the Start menu, click IBM Cognos Performance Modeler -> Log on as -> Enter a valid Username and Password for the new instance -> clicking on Login icon.

AllowSeparateNandCRules=T
ForceReevaluationOfFeedersForFedCellsOnDataChange = T
#DistributedPlanningOutputDir ( this param is commented in my instance, i see that commented in planning sample instance too).

Is there any other parameters to be considered to enable application design tab? please help.

Regards

For some strange reason this can normally be cured by running Modeler from within Cognos Applications - you should then see the Application Design content. Don't ask me why :roll:

Thanks for your help David, sorry for late response, had been away for few weeks. It worked when I uninstalled the performance modeler which got installed previously during complete installation and I installed it again after opening it from application web as you suggested, now I am able to see the 'Application Design' tab for my newly created instance.
