Dear TM1 Experts,
From the time we installed Fix Pack 3 on TM1 10.2.2, the excel applications uploaded under Applications folder of Perspectives displays in grey color. They open as expected on double click, however looks in grey color as if they are disabled or not active. The other versions .xls, .xlsm looks good (in black). I attached a screenshot.
We were thinking the installing FP 4 will resolve the issue, but it didn't. Did anyone see this issue?
Please advise.
Thanks,
Pavan

Re: Excel applications in .xlsx format display in Grey
Hi
I have 10.2.2 FP4 installed and I am not seeing that issue. I noticed that some of your .xlsx have a tilde ~ in front of the name which implies that the file was being edited at the time that it was uploaded?
Regards
Paul Simon

Re: Excel applications in .xlsx format display in Grey
That's just naming by developers.
**** The issue is now RESOLVED (by a PMR ticket) **********
Here is the fix as per IBM and it worked well for me:
The issue was with the config parameter "ExcelWebpublishenabled=T" in the CFG file. As per IBM, this is needed only to TM1 versions prior to 10.2. After disabling/removing this, we can see the applications (.xlsx) in black color.
Hope this information will be useful.
Thanks,
Pavan
