Adding Server in TM1 Application Configuration

I am a seasoned Cognos developer new to TM1 and have run into my first challenge.

I am using the 10.2.2 version. I am trying to add another server in the TM1 Applications Administration. I am able to see the application in the drop-down, but once I have added it - I don't see it added to the list of server as it is supposed to.
There are no error messages. The application just does not get added to the existing server.

Why ?!

Never mind - fixed it...this what worked...

1) Open Cognos Configuration for the TM1 Application installation
2) Stop the TM1 Application service
3) Move or delete the directory <tm1 root>\tomcat\work\Catalina\localhost\pmpsvc
4) In Cognos Configuration save and restart the TM1 Applications service
