The most obvious thing jumps out to me is your are trying to write in to consolidated cell,Which you are not allowed in this case. Please check the element type ,you are trying to write to.thanks

You start by reading the Creating Cubes and Dimensions section of the Developer Guide to understand the different types of elements and how they go into dimensions, and how dimensions make cubes.

You follow up by reading the Browsing Data section of the User Guide to understand how to create a view of a cube.

You then read the Request For Assistance Guidelines, like the one that reads:
2) Ensure that you specify the component of the software that you're having a problem with. If someone states that they have a problem with (say) number formatting, people need to know whether that's in Cube Viewer, Web, EV, the API, or wherever.
By that point, you'll have a pretty good idea of how to check the element type.

And in case you think that this reply is facetious, it isn't. If you haven't read the sections mentioned above there is no way on earth that someone can explain this to you without essentially typing out the whole of the manuals' contents anyway. Understanding element types and how they are used in a view is TM1 101, and until you have a handle on that you really won't be able to use the tool at all.

Just like Excel, consolidated cells are formula driven and do not accept input. This is really just a simple TM1 usage question that your supervisor will know the answer to. Why not ask someone at your company?
