Add a new Contributor view

Hi all,
I want to add a new Contributor view to our existing TM1 application.
I am unable to "Deploy Application" and it errors saying the application already exists.

I saved it as a new application and deployed and it worked. I think there should be a way to deploy the new view directly. Can someone please suggest what I am missing?

Also, I have not had luck deleting an existing application. Delete all applications works well. Please also share your ideas on this.
