Using Win 7 on the new TM1 10.2
I started playing with the new 10.2 today and tried to import my old approval hierarchy via performance modeler from 10.1.1 in 10.2.
I received the following error "The approval hierarchy has members missing below the top level member." when attempting to validate in the new 10.2
The approval hierarchy looks clean. I checked to make sure it mirrors what was in 10.1.1.
Could my issue be group or security related?
Any ideas on what my problem could be?

Re: Approval Hierarchy Move From 10.1.1 to 10.2
Hi tgaluskapatterson
Have you checked that the subset used as the approval hierarchy is fully expanded at the level you wish to use?
I have found this to be an issue also.
Kind Regards

Re: Approval Hierarchy Move From 10.1.1 to 10.2
I have seen this also, You cant have an 'incomplete' Hierarchy anymore as approval hierarchy.
For Example, the complete hierarchy;
All Salespersons
-Sales A
-Sales B
-Sales C
-Sales D
If you want the following hierachy as the approval
All Salespersons
-Sales A
-Sales B
That is not possible anymore in 10.2. What you can do is make a second Hierarchy and use that as the approval Hierarchy;
All Salespersons (Division X)
-Sales A
-Sales B

Re: Approval Hierarchy Move From 10.1.1 to 10.2
Please note that you get this exact same message when you have an hierarchy in your dimension and set your approval subset using subsetisallset(vdim, vsub, 1).
Now when you have an element which is listed in the hierarchy twice the validation of the application will fail! Remove the double parent and you are good to go.
