Relative proportional spread

Post by AWTM1 »

I have a facility to enter overrides in a cube at a consolidated level but I want these overrides to be proportionally spread based on sales for example. I don't want the user to have to select and go through the data spread options in tm1 web, I just want tm1 to always do a relative proportional spread based on sales when a consolidated override is entered. Does anyone know any tricks to make this work?

Having reviewed the forum I have decided to do this by using an input cube. I was hoping something could be done in Contributor, but it doesn't look like it can be.

You have sales at the consolidated level? You have the sales at the detailed level needed for the spread? If you do, think about the maths needed. The rule then kind of follows,
