Are there any special setting that need to be in place for TM1 Web to snapshot correctly. We have recently brought our French Canadian location on and they are having issues with the snapshot. They can go through the entire process of selecting the dimensions to snapshot and the IE popup window comes up and closes without prompting them to open the excel. But I do know that the snapshot is functioning. if I go into the properties of the XLS file type through My Computer and turn off the prompt before opening setting, the snapshot works perfrectly. I have looked at all the settings that I know about and have not been able to determine an differences.
Can anyone point me in a direction that I can look.

Re: Export to Excel Setup
Hi,
I started to experience similiar issues recently. In my case it is the new VPN software that we use that is changing the settings in the LAN Settings under Internet Options in IE. So changing the LAN Settings in IE depending if I am in the office or working from home will usually do the trick. However, I do not understand why it does not work with certain settings.
Hope this helps.

Hi All,
I have encountered the exact same problem recently at a customer site. The solution in that case was simple.
Go to Internet Options - Security Settings - Trusted Sites Zone and make sure you set
Automatic prompting for file downloads to enable.
Hopefully this will do the trick for you as well.
