Tm1Web xlsx websheets issue

Tm1web (9.5.2) stopped opening xlsx worksheets -

? Think it started when I overwrote a test.xlsx file in web app folder with an excel xlsm file

any ideas ?

Have you tried deleting the object from the folder and republishing the correct xlsm file?

Yes - did not work - this is 9.5.2 so uploads are xls or xlsx

I "confused" something when I overwrote the test.xlsx web file with the myfile.xlsm

- tm1web does not recognize xlsx file as legit file - when I try to open any xlsx file the

web download box pops up - thanks for your reply

XLSM is the macro extension if I remember rightly. I don't think web supports that extension. If you remove it and restart web and the excel service are you able to open other files? Have you tried after removing it, saving it as something else with the xlsx extension? Also what version of excel is installed on your web server?

Excel 2007 - I was not meaning to upload an xlsm fiel ( which is not allowed on 9.5.2)

I have restarted web and excel services - the issue is effecting "all" of my web xlsx file .

Guess I will bring down my app later today & also reboot the server - see if that resets anything
- somewhere something was reset - saw an IBm note about excel 2003 & 2007 on same box but that is
not my case and as stated earlier all was well until I messed up on my upload .
