TM1 Web and Contributor
Does anyone have experience using TM1 Web and TM1 Contributor as an UI for the same model at the same time (where the Contributor model is central, i.e. no hierarchy is used for submission or approval)? The desire to move away from TM1 Web fixes one gripe (not having drop-downs hold when switching between tabs) but unfortunately takes away some functionality (not being able to save cube views).

Contributer in central mode is great for packaging both Excel sheets and cube views in a way that's easy for users to follow. It doesn't however enable you to create / save views and without having action buttons executing processes is a problem. I would keep TM1Web as option for more advanced remote users and have contributor for those casual users. In terms of WAN analysis have you looked at cafe yet?

Re: TM1 Web and Contributor
There are several ways to maintain contextual navigation so that the choice from one dropdown is remembered when navigating to another websheet with the same dimension. Or did I misunderstand the gripe?LeeKeyanis wrote:The desire to move away from TM1 Web fixes one gripe (not having drop-downs hold when switching between tabs) but unfortunately takes away some functionality (not being able to save cube views).
Please place all requests for help in a public thread. I will not answer PMs requesting assistance.

Jim - CAFE might be an option in the future.
lotsaram - using websheets may solve the drop-down consistency issue, albeit with additional upkeep that's not desirable, but then slicing/dicing functionality is lost.
