Automatic recalculation websheets in Cognos Express 10.2

Post by ExpressUser »

Hi All,
I use Cognos Express 10.2. When I try to input data to level 0 (leaf elements) in websheets in TM1Web there are no auto recalculation, I should press Recalculate button. When I try to input data to non-zero level element of any dimention (element that has children) the system allocates (spreads) and auto recalculates.

I found the following link http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... 576#toggle - FAQ 10.2
There are some point:
1. "There is no auto recalc/manual mode button on websheets. SUBNM changes are essentially always in auto-recalc. This change keeps you from mistakenly thinking the data you are looking at is tied to an element, even if the data has not been refreshed.
a. Validation and Picklists can be set to manual or auto-recalc using the following config settings:
i. RecalcOnDataValidationChange
ii. RecalcOnPicklistChange "

2. "The following parameters are no longer applicable to TM1 Web version 10.2:
key=”UseBookRecalcSetting” value=”false”
key=”RecalcWebsheetOnActivate” value=”false”

- Do I understand correctly that now NO auto recalc in Websheets after input (edit) data? Does websheet recalculate only when change SUBNM, Picklists and spread data? There are other ways to configure auto recalc in websheets after input (edit) data?

From IBM:
Since the Interim Fix 4 for TM1 10.2.0 Fix Pack 1 aka TM1 10.2.0.1.4 the TM1 Web configuration parameters "RecalcOnActivate" und "UseBookRecalcSetting" are supported.

Check it out.
