Creating Admin privileges

Post by JamiseBondi »

Hi,

As a result of company policy at a client site, the request has been made to investigate the possibility of extending certain rights to non-admin users. The background is that the IBM license provides for a handful of admin users (say 5). We are interested in knowing if we can grant a non-admin user the ability to add new elements to a dimension or create public subsets and cube views. Is it possible to grant any of these (admin) privileges to a non-admin user in TM1?
Thanks.

Judicious use of TI processes which:
(a) The users have permission to run;
(b) Accept parameters, such as the name(s) of the new element(s); and
(c) Where necessary, have "Security Access" checked
Can make any of those things possible.
