Guys,
I know TM1 doesn't currently run on and Linux. I also know that a Linux version has been asked for in the past. With IBM now taking full control of the Cognos product set and with them having a heavy involvement with Linux servers I was wondering if anybody has heard whether or not a Linux version is in the pipe line?
Cheers,
Jim.

No. (I was at the Euro Partner jolly in Prague the other day and it wasn't mentioned there.) It is moving to AIX though

Re: TM1 & Linux
We are already looking at it. Basically we are currently running both TM1 and Essbase. We are looking to move all our current BI to OBIEE. The Essbase licenses will more than liekly go towards the OBIEE purchase so we can't use that going forward. We will more than likely (Unless we decide to keep an OLAP tool for analysis) stop paying our support bill for TM1. We are therefore looking at options. If we do keep an OLAP tool then TM1 will stay for sure. (For now as we are on Solaris) If we don't then as a team we are looking at alternatives. They are Analysis Services and PALO. So you have been warned John. You may be getting a few more questions on the Palo forum!!!John Hobson wrote:Palo runs on Linux

Re: TM1 & Linux
We actually have a copy of TM1 that runs on Linux in our office (in the museum corner). I think it's a version 6 (nicely boxed and all) which dates back to previous century (1999).
