Trying to decipher the mechanism that determines whether TM1 prompts users 'Do you want to Update dimension Worksheet?' after manually updating a Dimension through server explorer.
I was led to believe the MsgBox & Functionality were TM1 version specific however I only seem to currently be able to get this to run under 9.1SP2 (I could have sworn I saw this work on 9.1SP4) Any suggestions?

Hi,
TM1 will prompt for this when you're using Perspectives and you have your local database directory pointing to a directory where a .xdi file with the name of the updated dimension is located.

Michel - I should have mentioned in my post my local database directory is pointed to a valid TM1 data directory. I can update xdi's & xru's so the lcoation to the data directory is valid.
