Integrated Login for PerfMod, Insight & CAFE

Post by RJ! »

Hi All,

Is it possible to have Integrated Login used for all of the TM1 / CAFE components if you aren't using CAM?
I'm getting a little annoyed having to login to each & every TM1 screen except Architect & Perspectives :(

Seems to only be an issue with TM1 Web, Performance Modeller, Insight & Cafe... In other words anything that touches the Web Server I'm assuming...

Any hints?

Hi RJ,

Is your integrated login enabled in browser?
If integrated login is enabled, Are you using the same user name as used for windows authentication?

Enabled "In Browser"? You mean within options once your logged in? I have done that for CAFE but no luck. Is it set elsewhere?

When you say integrated login I am considering it as same user name used for windows login.

Scenario1:

Step1: Logging into System using username: User1.
Step2: Use same username: User1 for application you are trying to connect.

I am taking IE browser where you can check for Integrated login
IE --> Tools --> Internet Options --> Advance tab under that you can find "enable integrated windows authentication".

Scenario2:
If you are trying to access application with other username

Step1: Logging into System using username: User1.
Step2: Use username: User2 for application you are trying to connect.

Uncheck the option "enable integrated windows authentication".

It's Option 1, the User Name will be the users TM1 ID (same as the Desktop Login ID).
Checked mine, it's set to "on".

Is there a file similar to the TM1 .cfg file that switches this on/off?
