I want to use multiple servers and I'm thinking to load data from one server to another.
What can I use for this?
Can I access in server1 the files from server2?Is it any restriction for this?
What are the restrictions for a server folder?
Thanks

Re: Multiple Servers - Restrictions
This is quite a complicated discussion. Instead of expecting someone to provide a dissertation on something this detailed why not tell us exactly what it is you are trying to accomplish (and I mean what business requirement or technical problem you are trying to solve by running two or more servers) and then maybe we can provide guidance.

Re: Multiple Servers - Restrictions
The data files could in theory be shared, but only if the CFG files were in a seperate directories. I can't think of anybody that would recommend this however as a save in either would cause chaose, that and while it would work in theory, there are a 101 reason why it wouldn't.
as for loading data between servers, you could use ODBO, but the easiest way to do it is to export fom one and kick off a load in the other using TM1RunTI,
Jim.
