Webform size

Post by nayitian »

Hi there,

I have an Active Form which has only 4 columns, when it is published to TM1 web, everything is ok, except that there is a very very long horizontal scrollbar down at the bottom, is it possible to set a web form size and keep the scrollbar from displaying?

Thank you.

Is the format-range probably defined with many more columns?

No need to overcomplicate life, if there will never be anything in those columns just hide them in excel before you upload the sheet.

You never answered Willi's question. It's highly relevant.

There are no more other columns defined in the format range.
Thank you.

1/ Open Perspectives
2/ Select your websheet from the applications folders
3/ Select all empty columns to the right of your data
4/ Right-Click and select "hide"
5/ Select "Update" from the TM1 ribbon
6/ On the update popup box, select the same sheet you opened.
7/ Open tm1web
8/ Navigate to the websheet
9/ Be in awe of the hidden columns no longer being there

That is the ridiculously detailed version of:

Thanks Declan. Sorry I am being slow and behind.
I guess my problem is that I am not able to follow step 3 of your detailed instruction. It seems there are infinite columns right of the date, I really don't know how to hide them.
Please put up with me and my silly question.

Hover over the column's letter (e.g. where it says "L") you should see a down arrow appear instead of your cursor, press the left mouse button, this will highlight that column.
With the column still highlighted:
Hold "SHIFT"
press the "End" key (while still holding "shift")
press the right arrow on your keyboard (while still holding "shift")

At this point all columns from that point right are highlighted, you can release "SHIFT", with the columns highlighted right-click and select "hide."

Thanks a million for the education. Got what I wanted.
