Need some knowedge

Post by deepakjain2020 »

Hi All,

We are planning to have a ViewConstruct so that data gets loaded into cache and it would be less time consuming for users to view the report.

Now the thing which I will like to understand is,
When we have a SaveDataAll function, does the data in cache also gets cleared?

No. Saving data does not invalidate cache.

I can remember, that some versions had such a cache problem after running SaveDataAll. Later versions showed this as a solved issue again.
I have no clue what version(s) were affected.
How about getting benefit of MTQ with 10.2? That's a great feature to boost large views with consolidations and simply rules.
For example having 8 cores mean you get your view about 8 times faster, so 1 min goes down to ~8 sec.
