TM1 and BI secuirty 10.2

Post by bjones »

I'm trying to use AD secuirty through BI. While following the IBM configuration file i added the ServerCAMURI, ClientCAMURI and other parameters to the tm1s.cfg file while changing the security mode to 1. after i login with admin and try to do add new client there is no pop up to connect to AD. it still gives me add new client manually into the tm1 database.
What step did i miss in the configuration?

The mode needs to be 4 or 5 to bring in CAM users / groups. Mode 1 is TM1 based security.

Sounds like you haven't set AllowImportCAMClients = T in your tm1p.ini.

This is the one in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Applix\TM1 (for Win7) and don't forget that this file gets rewritten every time a client is closed, so don't update it with Perspectives or Architect open.
